Brilliant Anti-Aging Hacks For Any Age

The best way to start on an anti-aging routine is in your teens — roughly as young as you can go. So, is being 30 or 50 too late? There’s no better time than now than to hit up your lifestyle and your skin care routine to get the best skin (and the best bod) you’ve probably ever had in your entire life. Prevention, after all, is the only viable way to beat aging because correction might not happen at all.

All The Small Things

The key to an anti-aging strategy is what people now term as ‘mindfulness’.  Most likely, you’ve lost control over your own body, mind, and spirit because your mind is always floating to another time in the past or, in the future.  Almost always, you are left to put your fate on some enchanted elixir or, a L’amour skin care or, a diet somebody invented — forgetting what you should have always known.

Here are top 5 hacks to delay aging:

  1. Get your anti-aging strategy right. Switch to a more holistic mindset, a more systemic way of dealing with aging. Stop relying on some fad exercise or the diet that a friend of yours swears by. There is no single way to help you beat aging. You have to simultaneously look at your bedroom full of skin care products side by side with the food you have stored in your kitchen, and the way that you live your life in general.
  2. Think positive. Raised blood pressure can age your body in many ways — and, fast! It’s true that your risks for developing hypertension and heart disease increase with age but, turning the tables around, developing these diseases early on can make you age and look older sooner. The main reason is blocked arteries and the limits that this poses on the otherwise proper oxygen and nutrient circulation throughout your body.

Keep the tension down, become a more optimistic person, and stop anticipating the world to end tomorrow. Sometimes, too, the best things come when you don’t plan them out. So, take it easy. You may not have it your way but, there’s always something better coming your way.

  1. Make time for R&R. On any regular day, it’s so typical that you’re walking, holding up your mobile phone in your ear, a second phone in your pocket, a tablet on the other hand, and your laptop hanging by shoulders.

It’s good to be busy, it keeps your brains working and your bank filled but, a regular R&R is necessary for you to recharge. Every time you get back, you end up becoming more productive because that’s just how the mind works. Many times, you get the answers to your riddles when you’re not actively thinking about them.  Go and take that annual leave.

  1. Eat healthy, exercise and get sufficient sleep day in and day out. Sleeping for at least 7 hours night after night gives your body cells, including your skin cells, sufficient time to carry out repairs and regenerate new cells. Go for freshness and variety for your regular diet. Eat raw veggies and fruits to get the most nutrition.

A 2016 study about how exercise affects aging, published in the Science Advances Journal in 2016, found that telomeres shortened at a slower rate among subjects who worked out regularly compared to those who led sedentary lifestyles. The shorter the telomere of a cell gets, the less capable the cell is of dividing further which means there’s no regeneration happening and therefore aging sets in.

  1. Spoil yourself physically. Make sure that you are following the skin care regimen that complements your age, skin type, and peculiar skin issues, whether that may be a L’amour skin care or, something else. Your top priority is to protect your skin from UV, free radicals, and dryness — the top three causes of skin aging. Also, choose your products well to make sure these aren’t harming your skin more.

Conclusion

There’s really no stopping aging from setting but, you just want to be able to celebrate every decade with good health, gorgeous skin, and lasting memories. Take it from Sigourney Weaver who said, “It’s important to grow old gracefully, and that’s what I plan to do. I am here to stay. I take care of myself, and I have the discipline to stay fit and have good health until I am very old.” Make that your mantra for aging too.
