First full teaser for Netflix’s ‘The Defenders’ previews the team getting their ‘act’ together
Marvel is not one to be overshadowed by other movie news and The Dark Tower trailer may be making some headlines, but fans will be equally excited to finally see the first footage for another big project: Netflix’s The Defenders.
“Get your sh*t together” yells Stick (Scott Glenn), calling for a partnership between Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones).
Why?
Well, Sigourney Weaver plays a villain named Alexandra, and while there isn’t much known, it appears that The Hand will be back and, surprise surprise, so will some version of Elodie Yung’s Elektra. Rosario Dawson’s Night Nurse appears to be key in bringing the team together, but that’s not really a spoiler, just belated.
Check out the footage below.
The Defenders hits small screens everywhere on August 18, 2017.
Jessica Henwick will reprise the role of Colleen Wing from Iron Fist with Carrie-Anne Moss, Elden Henson, Rachael Taylor, Simone Missick, Deborah Ann Woll, and Eka Darville will have appearances of some sorts, playing their respective character from the linked Netflix show.
Stan Lee is confirmed to have a cameo (based on some set photos) so keep an eye out for that as well.
