How Businesses Can Market Over Multiple Electronic Devices

Any business that doesn’t have a focused online marketing strategy is missing out on a huge amount of business. This is because an online marketing strategy doesn’t just mean online sales, but it means engaging with your customers and advertising your brand to a wider audience.

Your company may have some degree of online presence, but people are more connected to the internet than ever before thanks to the rise in technology and recent innovations. This means there are new and more improved ways to getting informative statistics, and more importantly, a better way to advertise your business.

Here are some of the areas you need to consider when marketing your company, and how they can be used over many electronic devices.

Social Media Marketing

This is a huge market that has billions of people interacting every day. The amount of information posted and shared is huge, and all of these people are potential targets for your ad campaign. However, with more people using their smartphones to surf the internet, your social media campaign must reach those who use their phones more than their laptops.

Mobile Devices and Tablets

Your marketing strategy needs to be capable of reaching everyone regardless of where they are or what they’re using. Mobile phones have become one of the most popular ways for people to surf the internet and play games. Additionally, you need to consider tablet marketing strategies as many people carry iPads, etc. over laptops nowadays.

These apps and games offer a unique opportunity for companies to advertise to millions of people. Some of the ads are bannered across the bottom of the screen, while others are full-screen pop-up ads.

However, you need to understand how to get your ads on these games as it isn’t the same as other media.

Video Advertising

This is the type of marketing that can span across smartphones, tablets, laptops and the old-fashioned desktop computers. Video advertising is used by sites such as YouTube to show advertising before, during and after videos. They are usually 1-2 minutes in length and are bold and dynamic. The object is to get people to watch the whole thing as opposed to skipping.

This type of advertising is used both on the website, multimedia app and mobile apps. For this reason, it has the potential to reach a lot of people. Also, most sites now block AdBlocker.

Streaming Service Advertising

Companies such as Netflix and Amazon have access to people homes through smart TV’s, mobiles, tablets and games consoles. Running an advertising campaign on these sites will ultimately reach nearly every platform.

It also has the potential to be seen many times over by millions of viewers. For some companies, this is the ultimate way to reach a mass audience.

Being able to roll out your online marketing across many devices and platforms can be a daunting task. There are companies such as www.weaveability.com who can tailor your campaign across all of these devices and work with you on the best strategies.

It can be a good idea, in the beginning, to use an outside company so that you can get a good start. Otherwise, it may be a lot of expense with little reward at the end.
