Katie Couric confirms a fetus ‘can feel’ as they ‘choose their gender identity’
Katie Couric supports the abortion industry and Planned Parenthood, but while promoting her new National Geographic documentary, Gender Revolution, which confronts “gender identity in this country” confirms the fetus feels.
Even in the womb, a baby can “feel” like a different gender, Couric says to Ellen DeGeneres: “In the later stages of development, it’s when your brain is wired, and sometimes a surge of testosterone can make… a female fetus feel as if that baby is male or that person is male,” she said. “And the opposite, if there’s not enough testosterone.”

Newsbusters detailed how “Couric stressed the ‘whole new vocabulary that exists’ and the ‘generational divide’ in regards to gender,” “In today’s world, ‘it’s much more open and accepted, I think, for people to not fall into this binary that I was raised… with, this boy, girl, blue, pink,” and “and I think for people who are a little bit older, like me, a ‘cisgender woman,’ which means I identify with the gender in which I was born, it’s very hard to wrap your head around these new concepts.”
Pro-life groups may object to Couric’s analysis on gender and gender identity, but will cheer at the acknowledgement that a fetus, a baby in the womb can feel.
Hot Air: “How can Couric claim that they have a complex understanding of gender identity, while her allies in the abortion industry claim that they have no understanding of pain — and even more basically, life?”
Pro-abortion supporters will take aim and attack Couric. HuffPo says “Couric Admits to Embarassing Herself Over Trans Issues” during an an interview with transgender stars Carmen Carrera and Laverne Cox.
Couric asked Carrera about the state of her “private parts,” unleashing a wave of criticism about media’s perceived fixation on trans individuals’ genitalia. “I was willing to embarrass myself to help other people understand and make a point,” Couric said of being offensive to the trans-community.
Red State:
If we accept her demonstrably incorrect conclusion that a baby can choose his/her gender identity in the womb, then abortion is no longer simply the removal of a clump of cells. It’s the murder of an unborn person. And if we reject that unborn babies can make this choice, then being “born this way”—the excuse used by LGBT activists—is a lie.
Biology–which is the study of life–proves that the unborn baby is a person, it is born male or female based on DNA, and it doesn’t choose to be transgendered.
